Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–3 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (408) 257-7550. We LOVE hotpot and have had nothing but wonderful experiences every time we eat at the Milpitas location. The difference between the two locations is like night and day. For one, let's talk safety. The sweet tea that is served by default was a little TOO sweet for my liking - almost syrupy. I'm told that's how Wintermelon tea is supposed to taste. No worries - when we asked for water, we noticed a very distinct mold taste. Mold! If I'm not crazy, this is a huge health violation, is it not? The waiter said they didn't have any other water but later gave us some bottled water. I strongly feel that this must have been an issue with their water dispenser filter not having been properly changed out. We get to the food and honestly, the taste just feels off. Too salty, lacking in depth - almost everyone in our party noted something along the same lines. We've eaten at this place with our colleagues multiple times but definitely learned our lesson - the De Anza location is no bueno.

I ordered Taiwanese Supreme Spicy one with mild spice which is not spicy, taste so good. They offered free iced green tea, its refill. I went there lunchtime so there’s a line. It comes with rice or vermicelli. Potion is good, can be shared by two people.

My pregnant wife enjoys tasty pot… but somehow managed to find one piece of plastic in the beginning of the meal in the pot and then also again at the end. I mean sure once we’ll let it slide but twice?? We probably won’t return.

Absolutely loved Tasty Pot Hot Pot! The broth options are rich, flavorful, and comforting, and the ingredients are always fresh and high quality. The portion sizes are generous, prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and efficient. Perfect spot for a cozy, satisfying meal especially on a cold day. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍲πŸ”₯

We ordered the Thai soup, Taiwanese noodle soup (medium), stinky tofu soup (mild), and Japanese miso (mild) at Tasty Pot in Cupertino, CA, and everything was fantastic! Each soup was packed with flavorful and fresh ingredients like noodles, shrimp, meatballs, sliced beef, mushrooms, tofu skin, and fresh vegetables. The presentation was colorful and appetizing, showcasing the rich flavors of the cuisine. The staff was super attentive and made sure our soups stayed hot throughout the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Highly recommend if you're craving a hearty and delicious hot pot experience!
